Summary
A Vulcan engineer previously assimilated by the Borg at Wolf 359, T’liss is highly analytical, efficient, and unflinching under pressure. She is known for her meticulous approach to engineering challenges and a commitment to ensuring the safety and performance of her ship. Brings a rare combination of Vulcan intellect and Borg Technical knowledge to the position of Chief Engineer. Often serves as a confident to the Captain, owning to their long friendship.
Appearance
Tall with brown hair cut into a smart bob style and blue eyes. Pale skinned due to time spent assimilated by the Borg. Time in the collective has rendered some implants too tightly integrated into her biology requiring them to be left in place.
Personality
Serious and focused. Stereotypical for a Vulcan. However time spent in the collective has dulled her sense of logic somewhat.
History
Attended the Vulcan Science Academy before joining Starfleet. Served aboard the USS Roosevelt NCC-2573, in the late 2360’s as a systems engineer focused on propulsion. Assimilated at the Battle of Wolf 359. Recovered by Starfleet in 2388. After some rehab, rejoined Starfleet again as a systems engineer with a focus in computer systems, artificial intelligence and nanotechnology. First assigned to the U.S.S. San Francisco as a systems engineer then to Starbase 234 where she eventually rose to the position of Chief Engineer. In the aftermath of Frontier Day she elected to transfer to the Avalon Fleet Yards to help with rebuilding efforts however after a few months at the yards she was tasked transferring the U.S.S. Yamato to Deep Space 17 where her close friend was due to take command of the ship. She was offered the position of Chief Engineer and Second Officer which she accepted.
