Kulucis is the Chief Science Officer and Second Executive Officer aboard the USS Orion. Kulucis is widely regarded as a brilliant mind who specialises in many fields of physics, including astrophysics and cosmology. His profound understanding of the universe and its complexities is matched by a keen interest in cybernetics, often exploring the intersections between biology and technology.

Kulucis is profoundly thoughtful and methodical, driven by a constant need for evidence and logical reasoning. A natural sceptic, he prefers to approach any situation with a healthy dose of doubt until the facts are clear. His scientific mind demands proof before accepting any hypothesis or theory, and he is not easily swayed by speculation or unverified claims. He tends to take a cautious approach, weighing all available information thoroughly before drawing conclusions.

Despite his reserved approach to belief, Kulucis is highly social and engages quickly with others, often offering his insights into complex scientific matters. However, recent events have left him grappling with a deep sense of frustration and grief. The aftermath of the Frontier Day massacre has shaken him to his core, mainly due to the rapid promotions within the crew to fill the senior staff vacancies left by the tragedy. As the USS Orion’s chief science officer and second executive officer, Kulucis is well aware of the importance of experience in leadership roles.
