Summary
Petty Officer Rebecca Thorne serves as a senior nurse aboard the USS San Clemente, a California-class support vessel.
With over a decade of medical experience, she’s a trusted presence in Sickbay, often the calm voice during chaotic emergencies. Not a commissioned officer, though, her experience and confidence have made her an informal mentor to many junior medical staff and new crewmembers.
Appearance
Rebecca stands at 5’6″, with a warm smile and clear blue eyes. Her blonde hair is usually tied back in a no-nonsense ponytail.
Personality
Naturally warm and sociable, Rebecca is the kind of person who knows everyone’s name and their coffee order. She takes genuine joy in making others feel cared for. She’ll often stay late in Sickbay just to ensure her patients are comfortable and as happy as they can be.
Off-duty, she’s a regular fixture in the crew mess, where she’s known for her humour, her ability to draw out even the quietest crewmembers, and her fiercely protective big sister energy.
History
Early Life
Rebecca was born in 2364 in the rolling countryside of Staffordshire, England, Earth.
Raised in a close-knit farming community, she grew up surrounded by family and animals. From an early age, she displayed a compassion for others, looking after her younger siblings she’d often be patching up bumps and scrapes. She was fascinated by the stories of Starfleet medical teams travelling to distant worlds and helping those in need. She was inspired by the mix of science and service.
USS San Clemente (2402-Present)
She currently serves as the senior Nurse on board the ‘Mente‘, not her first choice of posting but she loves it non the less. Being on a support craft gives her the opportunity to look after those that ensure the safety of others.
