History

Starfleet Career

With Sazra, Silina entered the Academy and taught her focus in the Academy was more on Applied Sciences as her wish was to become a doctor. However, she was able to help in various simulations and was part of an excursion to aid the wounded after a crisis hit a planet. When she returned, she joined the USS Jaxartes to travel with Sazra into the Typhon region to explore the unknown.

Silina got involved with the rebuilding of the USS Jaxartes, where she gave her aid in the rebuilding of the medical section of the ship and supported the bridge remodeling. Eventually, she traveled with the Jaxartes to the Typhon Frontier, where they would investigate a violent nebula. Not long after their arrival, the crew would respond to the distress of the Hu’rastish where Silina was given a chance to get her medical skills to use. Upon freeing the ship, Silina joined the away team to provide medical support to any wounded on the alien vessel. Silina was also part of the first contact with the Valley of the Heart people, living in this violent nebula. For her contribution, she was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade.

After a while of service, she was appointed the Executive Officer and Medical Officer of the USS Jaxartes due to her strong leadership abilities, recognized by Captain Praugol. These skills would be tested in 2399 when they met with the USS Liberty. Silina was with Sazra to receive the orders from Captain Vance and was put in her place by him. Silina felt betrayed by Sazra because she didn’t protect her. Silina would be challenged with the morals of the prime directive as the Jaxartes tried to meet the needs of the USS Liberty. She supported the follow-up actions of Captain Praugol to confront Captain Vance about his crimes. She got promoted for her actions and guidance during this event.

In 2400 the USS Jaxartes got involved in an escort mission of an RFS science vessel. Silina was in charge while Sazra got to the station to help with the repairs. She kept the ship in one piece and followed the orders to the letter. She retreated against the crew’s wishes and was the leading person in the conversation with the USS Sarek and the RFS contact.  Silina, later on, got involved with the rescue of Captain Praugol. She had an intimate moment with Sazra that expressed her feelings for her, and it did confuse her. Silina was involved in the operation on Sazra severe wounds.

In 2400, she was reassigned to the USS Damascus as the Executive Officer. She did her job perfectly to the letter when the Damascus got dragged into the Blood Dilithium operations in Delta Quadrant. While keeping a close eye on Captain Praugol’s state of mind in the operations near the Devore Imperium borders, she tended to get conflicted with her feelings. She tried her best to get the attention of her Captain, but her work as the Executive Officer kept her away from Sazra. Until Silina confirmed that Sazra was unable to command and relief her of her duties. But when faced with the Blood Crystalline Entity, she revoked her order and got Sazra back. On the way to the bridge, Sazra kissed Silina back to confirm her feelings towards Silina. After the mission and returning to Alpha Quadrant, she was more in the background after Captain Praugol was accused of the bombing. She was temporarily in command of the Damascus to transport Captain Praugol and Councilor Praugol to Trill and stayed with Sazra in the process at her side.

After the events, Silina transferred to the USS Mariner as the Executive Officer to continue her service under the now-named Captain Kobahl. However, she wondered if her feelings were changed after the drastic change. Thought another important mission caught her attention, the journey back to Gamma Quadrant to request aid in 2401. While en route to Gamma Quadrant, Silina was conflicted about how to deal with the crew tension and understood the reasoning behind Captain Kobahl withholding the information from her senior crew. After the mutiny had occurred, Silina was given the duty to deal with the mutineers. She relieved Lieutenant Cailra and Lieutenant Shew of their duties on the Mariner as a heavy price awaited them. Silina felt conflicted about Ensign Cho, but gave her a second chance to redeem herself based on biased information. The same goes for Ensign L’iera who made it personal for her. Silina and the Command team got arrested at Starbase 86 for not following the regulations and placed inactive. However, Fourth Fleet redacted that order, and Silina remained the First Officer of the Mariner.
