Location: Overwatch Station, Promenade

Sotti was starting her around in the promenade, it wasn’t a big space but it was enough for the 500 personnel that called this place home. It had a couple shops in it for food and a couple for restaurants and it wasn’t anything like a star base of like Deep Space Nine or her space talk kind of promenade it was reminded her more of like a small village and you would go to and have like a little bit of everything that you could possibly imagine. The booths were small but they were quaint.

She really liked the cosmetic field of this place, right now she was providing security and going on patrol but actually looked around she is telling herself that she needed to come back here and check this new location out. In order to make room for the promenade Lieutenant Woodward had to give up small section of her Labs so she ended up merging two divisions together in one area. But it was important to the overall morale other crew to have a properly utilized promenade they only had one even though there were two sections to the station.

There was about 350 service personnel and 150 civilians that made up to 500 staff that lived and operated on Overwatch Station. Even though there were less scientists now on the station it didn’t mean that their work wasn’t any less important. Now they had to use some civilian scientists in conjunction with their own Starfleet teams. And now there are some rooms available to the civilian population in order to allow them to run shops on the station. Which should help the overall morality of the station.

In the past the station was particularly only used for research purposes, but now that they were discovering that replicated rations were in a good idea and that even a community as small as 350 still needed some remnants of home.

A micro promenade and she like to call it was just the thing they needed. It was a nice touch in her mind, because the fact that she was security she was allowed access while construction was completing. It looks like the promenade could hold a Max of a 100 people at any given time. But given the fact there’s only 500 personnel altogether and there are a few holodecks in a couple mess holes it should be enough for all the personnel and a couple recreational rooms. Sotti suspected there would be no more than 50 personnel visiting the promenade at any given time. The promenade should be able to support the station’s crew.

Well she walked around, she thought about her conversation she had with Thyhl. It was nice to meet a fellow and durian and somebody that she could probably actually have a decent conversation with. His unique pick up line to start the conversation left something to be desired but she wasn’t going to try to hold that against him.

He was definitely an interesting person, first glance and first impressions she was not really impressed by him, but when they started talking her impressions started to change.

She can see her self easily talking to somebody like him on a regular basis and maybe even dating him. It was still a little too soon to tell if that was going to be the scenario but it was a promising start she thought to herself.

And she walked around she noticed one of these booths was selling bajoran cuisine. She had heard about some of their fine or delicacies and she was kind of curious to try one.

She knew how passionate the people were, she’d assumed that they put the same passion into their food. So she was curious to see what it was like.

She wanted to try Decapus Salad, she heard it was pretty tasty and not too spicy. She wasn’t a real big fan of super spicy food.

She continued to walk around the micro promenade, as the scene starts to fade. Sotti continue to have a big grin on her face as she continuing walking around checking everything out. She can’t wait for this place to open.

Location: Overwatch Station, CO Quarters

“Mom Mom did you change the program?” Mila demanded in a tone of urgency praying that her mom would seriously considerate but she wanted her to consider it in her favorites that’s why she kind of hinted at did you instead of will you.

“What?” Elsie that she was suddenly bombarded with a question that she wasn’t expecting, but deep down she should have expected it so she takes ownership for that mishap on her part. Junior high excited the children were that she was going to consider the idea of changing the holographic teacher program.

“Sorry Mom meal is a little excited, she was hoping that you would change that program so we could have a better teacher tomorrow.” Amber said if she tried to be the voice of reason and to make sense of Mila’s practical demand.

“I believe I advise you ladies that I was going to consider it, I believe it’s something along the lines of I’ll take it under consideration.” Elsie reminded her children.

Hope was awfully quiet in a little sad, she wanted to hear that the teacher program will be left alone. She liked it she was probably the only one who did. But if her sisters wanted to change the program, she would go along with it.

“Come on Mom, that’s not fair, why can’t we have a teacher that we want to spend time with and we want to learn from?” Miller stated that she was trying to reason with her mom.

“Well this is the first opportunity I really had to try to consider it, I didn’t expect to be in bombarded from the door with demands. I was hoping to say hi Mom how are you doing, I love you Mom. Something along that approach.” Elsie pointed out to her girls.

The three girls look at her slightly annoyed, but they did that because he knew they were in the wrong even little hope. Because she didn’t ask either even though she had been pretty quiet to this point she didn’t ask her Mom how her day was but then again mom didn’t ask how their day was but she kind of did at lunch. “Did you have a good day at work Mom?”

“I did hope thank you for asking.” Elsie said as she gave a smile to her youngest daughter. She was very grateful that her daughter, finally said something. Granted it was after she prompted her but at least out of the three kids one of them asked. So that had to count for something.

“All right if I agree to do this it’ll be out of trial basis, I want to see 100% effort from all three of you.” Elsie said with a strict tone.

“Yes mama, you can count on us.” Mila said if she jumped up and down with joy, she was happy finally a teacher she could work with.

“Do we get to help you choose the next program?” Amber asked hoping that her mom would be open to the idea of them helping her choose.

“Okay one two three of you come around here and we’ll go look at the monitor programs and see who’s available that can meet all three of your needs.” Elsie said as a scene starts to fade away.

Elsie health then prepare a new program, and she listens to the girls input as a scene completely fades. By the end of the scene the three girls and Elsie managed t

o pick a new holographic teacher program to teach the girls.
