USS Paramount

California-class • NCC-75570 • Task Force 93

The USS Paramount (NCC-75570) is a California-class utility cruiser assigned to the Fourth Fleet’s Task Force 93. She is currently under the command of Captain Nitus. Commissioned in late 2381, the Paramount is the first ship of its name and is one of the most advanced and technological superior California-class ships. Having been configured to serve as a surveyor and scientific support ship, with it being regulated to second rate exploration and second contact missions. It’s additional science labs and larger probe magazine makes her an excellent choice for long-duration surveys and other expeditions within Federation space.

The Paramount is also well equipped to conduct search and rescue operations, defensive missions and logistical support for the different elements of the task force when required in conjunction with her own exploration / patrol duties. Built on a tried and true frame, Paramount is well equipped for any mission she may go on. With a renewed willingness to go see what’s past the map’s edge — these are the voyages of the starship Paramount…
