Eos Station

Watchtower-class • DS-108 • Task Force 47

“I had my choice of any job in the fleet. I didn’t want some cushy job …I wanted this. The farthest reaches of the galaxy. One of the most remote outposts available. This is where the adventure is. This is where heroes are made. Right here… in the wilderness.”
~ Julian Bashir, 2369 (“Emissary”)

Commissioned in 2293, just before the Khitomer Accords were signed, Eos Station was a cutting-edge Watchtower-class outpost along the Romulan Neutral Zone. Its mission was clear: gather intelligence on the Romulans, defend the Federation’s borders, and keep a close watch on our Romulan neighbors. Eos Station was the highlight of Federation Engineering.

But in 2311, the Tomed Incident pushed the Romulan Star Empire into a long period of isolation. As the galaxy’s political landscape shifted, so did the Federation’s priorities. What was once a critical stronghold became an overequipped, overlooked outpost on a border that seemed increasingly irrelevant. Over the decades, Eos Station fell into disrepair, its former glory fading as it was sidelined.

Then came the year 2400, a year that would reignite Eos Station. The collapse of the Romulan Star Empire at Rator and the ensuing civil war shattered, thrusting Eos Station back into the spotlight. Reactivated and modernized, Eos now stands as a defense against the chaos unfolding across the border. Positioned opposite the Romulan Free State, it serves as a warning to the fractured Romulan people. With T’Met and Freecloud as your neighbors, what could possibly go wrong?
