When an underspace aperture opens before them, the Columbia crew is faced with the arrival of multiple races from the Gradin Belt of the Delta Quadrant. These ships have been damaged, and in return for remaining peaceful, those ships have accepted Columbia’s offer to help them with making repairs. The ships ask if they can visit the Columbia. As such, Captain Corbin orders his crew to welcome their guests as they host their visitors from the other side of the galaxy. Additionally, Corbin orders his crew to study the aperture to help their guests find a way home.
