After many delays, the USS Sojourner has finally reached the Thomar Expanse. Its mission is simple: to explore this largely unknown part of space.

Working within the broad orders of Taskforce 47, based out of DS47, the USS Sojourner has been tasked with heading deep into the expanse to make contact with the people who inhabit this region of space and to secure support for the Federation to explore further.

The crew, especially the senior crew, is hopeful for a quiet mission of exploration but is all too aware of the threats that loom in the form of the Breen and Tzenkethi, not to mention the Cardassian Union.
