Starbase 93, Holodeck Control – Task Force 93 HQ

Following the Vaadwaur assault,  I’ve ordered temporary shoreleave across all units. We’ve earned it, and quite frankly, I’ve seen more tension in some shoulders than currently aboard these ships.

Holodeck 1 has been programmed for a simulation of Risa, complete with clear skies, surf, and just enough odd subroutines to keep things interesting. No drills. No briefings. Just sun, sand, and perhaps some minor shenanigans.

Commanding officers are encouraged to grant their personnel downtime in the program.  This is not an official order… but it is a chance to decompress, and remind ourselves that we’re not just Starfleet officers, we’re people. And people sometimes need a break. What happens on Risa… well, I’ll leave that up to you.

Summary

Following the turbulent events of the Vaadwaur assault, Task Force 93 is taking a well-earned vacation at headquarters. To help boost morale and offer a light-hearted fun, Holodeck 1 aboard Starbase 93 has been reserved for a special simulation: a tropical beach party on Risa, complete with ocean views, shoreline festivities, and plenty of space for interaction. Whether you’re soaking up the sun, playing beach volleyball, or navigating the awkward shore leave moment, this is your chance to relax, mingle, and maybe stir up a little harmless chaos. At least before the next big mission comes calling.

Out Of Character

This mission is a freeform writing opportunity designed to encourage creativity and member interaction. This is a collaborative writing event across Task Force 93, and Fleet Captain Mitchell’s message above will serve as the in-character prompt to kick things off.

From there, it’s up to you to develop the story. This is your chance to have fun, meet up with fellow Ninetiers, and enjoy the break. There is no strict plot, just a shared playground to build your adventure.
