For the last year and a half, the USS Melbourne has been in drydock, undergoing an extensive refit. Her systems have been upgraded, new capabilities added, and living quarters refreshed. After this, Starfleet Command has seen fit to give Captain Fabien Oteng, fresh off of the adventures with the Vaadwaur, this new ship. Larger, more recognizable, and ready to fly the flag of the Federation. Preparation is essential for a new ship.
