Location: USS Paso Robles, Conference Room

The senior staff was now all assembled in the conference room. Mira and her away team had returned from the ship and they had it under tow starting to make their way towards Starbase Bravo. “ there should be an interesting debrief for us. Commander Solwick if you will please.”

Mira looked at everybody and then she started off by putting her hands gently together on the table trying to compose herself and she got ready to say what she needed to. She was a little on edge because she didn’t like what she was about ready to report.

“The Vaadwaur Supremecy has declared open hostilities towards our fleet. In the particular case of the medical transport vessel Wolverine, they killed the entire crew and then set explosives to detonate if any shifts went to investigate. Thanks to the crafty skills of our crew we are able to disable the device and get close enough to the ship without being destroyed.” Mira started to say, then she took a deep breath and continued on.

“The Vaadwaur acts of aggressions, should be alarming for us all. We need to make sure that we’re prepared for any potential hostile encounter with them. We need to learn from The Wolverine and take precautions to make sure we don’t face a similar fate since we’re in a similar field of service. And when every department head to strategize and plan what they would do in an invasion type situation of our ship. Well we’re all doing that I’m going to have double duty for the logistics department. We’re going to deliver the wolverine’s medical supplies to the fleet and then we’re going to head out we have less than 48 hours before we have to pull out of the system. The one hand I need a battle evaluation report for logistical department and I also need you to make the deliveries all other departments will support Logistics and then also come up with a battle strategy plan. I cannot stress the importance of being prepared in case we have to engage, The Vaadwaur Supremecy.”

“I agree.” Reeve spoke up. “I recommend that we strategize having lockdowns on departments abound an invasion occur, possibly find a way to keep them from getting through sealed doors.

“I will be adding training to my security personnel.” Jaxon spoke up. “And take some suggestions they may have as well.”

“Medical will work on some things as well.” Aria spoke up. “We may have a way to neutralize them should they attempt to invade us and contain them to the brig.”

“My concern is that the crew might consider the Paso Robles as a prison vessel if we restrict all the bull kids immediately I would suggest we do this as a last minute action and we train our crews in each of the departments that if we call a particular order that it’s for their protection.” Zara suggested that she looked around the room.

Renato nodded in agreement, as he went on. “Our counselors right, we are not a prison vessel but it could feel that way if we start enclosing off areas to protect our crew. After what happened with the Borg, we can’t take anything for granted. I know those are two different factions and they have two different strategies for attacking. The Borg wantvto assimilate and the Vaadwaur just want to eliminate.” Renato point it out to the crew.

“My intent was a lockdown that automatically went into affect if we were being boarded.” Reeve spoke up. “Not something implemented now. A procedure where our enemy didn’t have the time to infiltrate because the moment they tried it would kick in.”

“I get what you are saying.” Taren spoke up. “It would have perimeters that the command staff set up and could even require a code to activate if you will.”

“So I think we’re all in agreement, we’ll need to develop this plan quickly and what to do if the situation does arise.” T’Shan pointed out to the group if she decided to chime in.

Lira also decided to give out her two cents. “I agree as a general we shouldn’t try to impersonate our crew, while I can understand that aspect we also have a duty to protect our crew. I would rather have the extra precautions as a backup scenario in case we ever do get boarded. So you have my full support on this.”

“We appreciate that, but I think we have addressed this topic, so let’s move forward. The Wolverine had medical supplies it was trying to deliver I want us to repurpose and focus on that. Miss Chameer, were you able to inventory the medical supply so we can get them sent out?” Renato asked as he licked over to her.

“I have taken inventory, captain, I’m still waiting to find out the destination of all these supplies.” Lira said as she answered the captain’s question.

“Mister O’Connell, have you finished going through the logs? Have you been able to determine the destinations?” Renato asked, hoping he would be able to give his chief Logistics officer the coordinates.

“Yes Captain.” Reeve replied. “I downloaded the destinations to this padd.” He handed it over to Lira. “We should have no trouble fulfilling their mission, Sir.”

“Well Miss Chameer, it looks like we have our work cut out for us cuz we have two days to deliver to 10 ships. Either we could split it up to five shifts a day hopefully It will be long shifts but it should be achievable.”

“Agreed sir, if we could figure out a way of contracting the blackout, it would greatly increase our delivery times.” Lira said as she like over to the captain. They could do all the deliveries in a day if they could figure out how to overcome the blackout.

“ I believe I can overcome that Captain and manually compensate for the increase in Mass caused by the blackout. They’re saying within a couple days they’ll dissipate to my new levels we don’t have that kind of time. I believe I can manually input the bizard collectors to process the access material.”

“What do you think Mister Kroll?” Mira ass as she waited for the chief science officer to respond. She had a feeling this is going to take the entire crew and not just the fancy flying of Ensign T’Shran.

Teral thought for a moment. “I think it will work if we all work together.” It seemed like a cliche but he was serious.

“Captain if you’re looking for suggestions I think we should do it, follow the Ensign’s suggestion and then get these medical supplies delivered as soon as possible.” Mira suggested to her Captain. She knew T’Shan plan was bold but it was her best chance to get the mission down on time.

“Well we have a plan, let’s meet up on the bridge and see

this through.” Renato said, as the scene fades away.
