Part of Bravo Fleet: Nightfall

USS Babylon

Like Falling Into a River

How do we get through blackout space? Hey! Let's ask the Borg for a ride!

Mission Description

After having spent the better part of a year on a survey mission in the Delta Quadrant, the USS Babylon has been tasked with pathfinding through the Borg’s transwarp conduits. It could mean salvation for someone waiting for reinforcements. It could also mean accidentally drawing the attention of yet another enemy in the Federation’s darkest (ha ha) hour. It STARTS with finding the entrance, and it turns out they’re not well marked.

She needed a moment of reprieve from the high-pitched waves of human voices on the air, even if just for a moment. The tension on the ship was obvious even to her, and as [...]

USS Babylon: Like Falling Into a River

Szarka tried to quash the smile on her face as she read the message over again. Now was not the time for schadenfreude–particularly not when poor Ixabi looked queasy, as if the content of the message was somehow her fault–but if she didn’t respond to the situation with dark humor, then [...]
